A favourite amenity of Camp Obadiah is our seven acre lake. The lake has four islands, a covered jetty, canoes & kayaks.
We have a large, modern and well-equipped kitchen for use when camps or conventions require to self-cater.
The camp dining room is attached to the camp kitchen. There is enough space to seat up to 80 guests comfortably.
Our modern convention centre can seat up to 200 guests and is fully equipped with modern audio & visual facilities.
The gymnasium is equipped with weight training, treadmill, rowing machine plus more. There is also a TV and dvd player.
Our covered BBQ areas are ideal for those sunny days when a good old sausage sizzle is just the trick for lunch or dinner.
The campfire site is ideal for bigger groups and can be made festive by the addition of a BBQ and coloured party lights.
The tennis court has a concrete base with fencing all round. Just the ticket to help keep fit and have fun at the same time.
Bordered on two sides by the Johns River State Forest, there are many walking trails available to those who like to keep fit.
Our group accommodation facility consists of ten dormitory rooms which can sleep up to fifty guests plus 2 fully self-contained apartments which are made available to facilitators and teachers.
Together with our self-contained units we can comfortably accommodate a group of 80 guests.
There are split-system air-conditioning units plus smoke & fire detectors fitted to every room. There are also two amenities areas (his & hers) under the same roof. Laundry facilities are available at the camp laundry.
Guests staying in the group accommodation block are required to supply their own bed linen/towels. (pillows and mattress protectors are provided)
Our Self-Contained Units are modern open-plan two bedroom units that can sleep up to a total of six guests. The units are spacious and contain everything you need for either an overnight stay or a long-term holiday.
The kitchen has a gas-range, microwave, fridge/freezer, all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. There is also a breakfast bar for those quick snacks.
The master bedroom has built-in wardrobes, a queen size bed, dressing table and bay window.
The second bedroom can be configured to suit but mostly contains single beds or bunks. It also has built in-robes.
Full laundry facilities are contained in each unit.
Our group accommodation block can accommodate up to 110 guests (if your group is larger please contact us as arrangements can be made to accommodate more)

Groups that do not require accommodation such as weddings, training seminars, day conferences etc. are able to book our facility for daily use.

This fee is for groups up to 120 and includes full and exclusive use of our facilities including the camp kitchen & dining rooms, conference hall, BBQ sites, campfire sites, gymnasium, tennis court, lake and jetty.
