The beautiful area of Crowdy Head is located on a vast expanse of unspoilt beach which includes the North Beach and South Beach.The Surf Lifesaving Club overlooks the beach and there is a kiosk, cold outdoor shower and toilet facilities. Picnic area with barbecues and picnic tables are nearby.
The historic Crowdy Head Lighthouse was designed and erected in 1878 - 1879 as one of only five small lighthouses built on the NSW coast. This is the perfect locality to view whales migrating north to warmer waters during May - July and return during August - October.
